Putting a Slipcover on Your Furniture

Slipcovers aren’t just a cost-effective way of adding style and color to your furniture – they’re also easy to put on.  In 5 simple steps that take about 10 minutes, your furniture can have a brand new look.

1. Locate the center front of the slipcover (look for the sticker on the slipcover).
2. Drape the slipcover over the furniture and pull the fabric down so it touches the floor evenly on all sides.
3. Locate the arms on the slipcover (again, look for stickers) and pull down to secure them in place.
4. Tuck all around.  Smooth out any excess fabric by tucking it into the creases.
5. Slipcovers with a straight skirt have ties on all four corners.  Make a neat knot or bow and your done.
